CONFERÈNCIA INTERNACIONAL “COMPORTAMENT I INDIVIDUALITAT EN PRIMATS I ALTRES
MAMÍFERS”

Els propers dies 17 i 18 de març de 2008 se celebrarà a Lisboa la
Conferència Internacional “Comportament i Individualitat” organitzat per la
Universidade Lusófona.

Fundació Mona assistirà com a ponent convidat i realitzarà dues
comunicacions. La primer d’elles amb el títol “Socialització de primats
humanitzats: un estudi de cas al Centre de Recuperació de Primats de Mona”
la durà a terme Olga Feliu, directora general de Fundació Mona. La segona,
amb el títol “Diferències individuals en la lateralitat manual en ximpanzés”
la durà a terme Miquel Llorente, responsable de la Unitat de Recerca de Mona
i investigador del IPHES (Institut Català de Paleoecologia Humana i Evolució
Social).

Altres conferenciants convidats  seran Kim Bard (University of Portsmouth),
Lindsay Murray (University of Chester), Simone Pika (University of
Manchester) i Alex Weiss (University of Edimburg).

Los próximos días 17 y 18 de marzo de 2008 se celebrará en Lisboa la
Conferencia Internacional “Comportamiento e Individualidad” organizado por
la Universidade Lusófona.

Fundación Mona asistirá como ponente invitado y realizará dos
comunicaciones. La primera de ellas con el título “Socialización de primates
decomisados: un estudio de caso en el Centro de Recuperación de Primates de
Mona” la llevará a cabo Olga Feliu, directora general de Fundación Mona. La
segunda de ellas, con el título “Diferencias individuales en la lateralidad
manual en chimpancés” la llevará a cabo Miquel Llorente, responsable de la
Unidad de Investigación de Mona e investigador del IPHES (Institut Català de
Paleoecologia Humana i Evolució Social).

Otros conferenciantes invitados serán Kim Bard (University of Portsmouth),

INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE "BEHAVIOR and INDIVIDUALITY IN PRIMATES and OTHER
MAMMALS"

Next days 17th and 18th of March 2008 will be celebrated in Lisbon the
International Conference "Behavior and Individuality" organized by the
Universidade Lusófona. 

Mona foundation will attend as guest speaker and will make two
communications. The first of them with the title "Socialization of humanized
chimpanzees: a case study at the Mona Primate Rescue Center" will be
presented by Olga Feliu, general director of Mona Foundation. The second,
with the title "Individual differences in the chimpanzee handedness" will be
presented by Miquel Llorente, person in charge of the Unit of Investigation
of Mona and researcher of the IPHES (Institut Català de Paleoecologia Humana
i Evolució Social). 

Other invited speakers will be Kim Bard (University of Portsmouth), Lindsay
Murray (University of Chester), Simone Pika (University of Manchester) and
Alex Weiss (University of Edinburg).
