Good day, 

The Continent of Africa has its own official Animal Keepers Association. 

The initiative, which began as a Working Group of PAAZAB, (African Association of Zoo's and Aquaria) has now been constituted as an autonomous organisation. 

This letter serves as a reminder  to all interested parties and also acts as the official INVITATION to all animal keeping professionals, be they vets, keepers, animal attendants, curators, kitchen staff or educators. THE ANIMAL KEEPERS ASSOCIATION OF AFRICA is holding its first ever conference for its 'members' this year.

A call for Papers & Posters is now open & we encourage you to email your abstract to: robyn at zoo.ac.za or robynn at sentechsa.co.za  for review by the interim committee.
